On parental leave again: the new baby is born
On March 22nd, last Sunday, our new baby, my fourth son, gave us the honor of his presence on earth. Mom and baby are well 🙂
I should have informed you immediately but all my other boys before were in time or some days late – just this little man decided to be born a bit early…
So I started my planned parental leave unexpectedly early, and I tell you: I was really busy in the last week to organise the daily routine for the other boys plus building the nest for the new born baby, resisting “helping” relatives and apportioning urgent job tasks deeply gratefully to colleagues and community members. No time or mood for any other tasks as you might imagine.
In the new week, things seem to become more clear and mannered. And please note: I intentionally didn’t switch on the automatic out-of-office reply as I am registered at many mailing lists etc. I most likely will answer any conversation (by email or other channels) only by the end of May and cannot take on additional tasks in the mean time. In urgent cases I’ll be available via my mobile phone – just be aware I might be about to swaddle one of the puppies.
